Introduction
Dyan began working at MoRAP as a student in the fall of 2004. She officially joined the MoRAP staff on a full-time basis the following year. Dyan is currently working with NPS to complete a multi-phase project that involves mapping current vegetation in many national parks. She continues to assist with the Texas Ecological Systems Classification. She also helps in the recruitment of student workers.
Background
Dyan received both her Bachelors (History, 2000) & Masters degrees (Geography, 2004) from the University of Missouri-Columbia while working full time for the MU Libraries. Her studies focused on GIS technologies and navigation. Her Masters research project was a web-based program called "Help Me Find My Book", designed to run with the MU Libraries catalog to assist patrons with locating desired materials within Ellis Library.
